The Midnight Toker. It's like Kory Clarke from Warrior Soul and/or Perry Farrell on vocals for a Heavy Psych/Stoner Doom band. Its got that Punk attitude that makes you bang your head. Their whole catalog was overlooked by me for some reason or another. This album fucking RULES. Favorite track: Warlock.

Bucky Psychosis Ritual casts upon us a demented spell of heavy psych meets thrasher-punk-doom. The Southern CA scene continues to drown us with this intensely wicked form of psychedelic doom loaded with craggy riffs and wasted tone.

JoopKonraad It’s got as much doom moments as it has punk and it drowns us all with their demented ritual. Leaving us all breathless and bordering on psychotic after the seven tracks have passed. Only 32 minutes long this release starts of slow, cloying and diffuse; then quickly starts to pick up speed, aggression and intensity and in the end will feel like a mountain of seismic energy has crushed every part of your being. . . .

Amazing album. Slow burning doom with spacey vocals and a variety of ambient washes. Then they add in the occasional saxophone which brings a whole other dimension to the music. It’s quite unorthodox but truly enjoyable. This band offers something you won’t find in the more generic doom. I suggest you grab a copy while you can ! lavintman1
